Fabric Headbands
I love these headbands. They are Heather Bailey’s Hooray for Headbands. I made this particular headband about 3 years ago and my little one has been wearing it for that long. It’s hard to tell, but there is a piece of elastic under the bow in the back so there is a bit of room for a growing head. They are just now starting to get snug, so I need to make up some more for her. It will now be time to pass these down to the babe as they fit her head perfectly, with some room to grow. I love that you can pick whatever fabrics you want, mix and match, and there are sizes for babies, girls, and women so you can make them for any gal you know. Who wouldn’t like a fun headband, or several? They would also make perfect stocking stuffers and they are very quick to put together. It is a quick, fun, and super cute project, do try some.
Absolutely adorable….I’ve seen them in person 🙂
So pretty!
They are very cute indeed! If only I could sew!
Thanks everybody.
Petit Filoux, if I can teach myself to sew, anybody can. Though it would take a bit longer, you could do them by hand if you don’t have a machine.
those are sweet. We can always use more headbands in our house, as they seem disappear. Thanks for the link.
Great timing Jennifer, I was just thinking today that I need to get some headbands for Isabella, but heck, now I can make them! Thank you 🙂
Glad you guys can use the link, I really like the pattern, it’s nice and easy and so versatile.
What a cute headband! I love headbands and since I’m the only girl around here I’ll just have to make some for myself. 🙂 What a great use of scrap fabric too. Thanks for posting the link.
What a fabulous headband (and what a great idea to have the hidden elastic). Have just downloaded the pattern. And love your choice of fabric too! K x
How cute! It looks like it’s really comfortable too! I want one!!
You guys should definitely make them, in fact, I think I need to make some for myself. My little girl loves them.
LOVE the headband!!! I am going to have to try to make some for my girls!
