To The Dentist (and back)
We drive 45 minutes away to go the kid’s dentist. We had a really bad experience with the one here in town several years ago and won’t take our kids to see him. Anyway, it’s a nice little drive and I thought I’d share some of the views.
You live in such an amazingly stunning place. Beautiful
It all looks so amazing! Our little lane pales in comparison – it seems so tame here!

Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing with us. Looks like a nice quiet place to live.
When I see it every day I forget what a fabulous place we live in. Thanks for reminding me. Beautiful photography, Jennifer!
The barn in the third picture is a wonderful shape. You live in very scenic place.
Wow! what a lot of space. It looks amazing, hope the visit to the dentist went ok.

Oh how I miss the real mountains of the West! The pictures are so reminiscent of my short time living in UT and NV.
Oh Jennifer, isn’t blogland fab. You’re my friend who i communicate with weekly at least, and how amazing is it to see that you live in the most amazing beautiful place that is so radically different to my home here. A hundred years ago we would never have met. I’m so glad we have Blogs aren’t you? Lots of love, Amanda xxx
How wonderful to be transported to your part of the world with the click of a button and isn’t it a beautiful part too! I love the barn and mountains pic. I’m glad to see that windmills are the same over there as they are over here. Thanks for sharing.

WOW! Your world looks sooo different to mine. Both extremely beautiful but in different ways. I can’t believe you see buffalo on the way to the dentist. lol! We see sheep.
Just scrolled down and looked at your ‘Dream Home’ post. I was looking at the picture book thinking, “hmmm, I’d like to live there too. Actually that looks and sounds like my corner of the world!” And would you believe, it is! The All Creatures Great and Small, TV series (based on the James Herriot books) was filmed here and round about in Wensleydale and Swaledale. The building used for the surgery is in Askrigg, a little village just up the road. (but I’m sure you knew that already)
I feel quite tingley to think someone at the other side of the world would like to be exactly where I am. If I had a magic wand I’d magic you here, straight into your very own picture book.

What a beautiful countryside Jennifer! I love the barn photos…someday I want to photograph barns and hang the barn art on our walls. Thanks for reminding me!
with love,
