Winding Roads

Hi everybody. I’m sorry I missed being here for the last few days. I’m in the middle of I’m not quite sure what yet. I honestly am having a hard time with energy right now, and the blog seems to get the last of it. I realize that I’m not busier than anybody else, but I feel like I am spread so thin these days. Lack of sleep, decluttering, lots on my mind and just keeping up with cooking, laundry, kids etc. is wiping me out. I really don’t want to give up the blog, but I think I am going to have to cut down on posting for a while until I can pull myself together. I am going to try and post several times a week and see how that goes for a while. Thanks for understanding.

Blogging is only fun while it’s… fun! There shouldn’t be any pressure to post at any given time frequency, so let just it slide when you need to and grab those extra minutes to take good care of yourself. Hope life makes more sense soon. x

  6. It’s no longer fun when you feel you ought to do it! Once when I was reading an entry on a (blog) friends blog, she mentioned me, and said she worried if I missed a post, in case I was ill, as I normally post regularly – I felt a bit pressured for a while afterwards! Take care of yourself, love, Anne

  7. I know just how you feel.

But it’s not blogging that takes my time; it’s fiddle-arsing about.

I agree with the others, it’s meant to be fun. And health first! Look after yourself ma dear.

  10. I’ve just found your blog, having been recommended it by lots of my friends. I can completely sympathise with feeling a little frayed at the edges, having four children, three chickens, two cats, a dog and an allotment. Oh and two blogs! I think posting a few times a week rather than every day definitely takes the pressure off. I’m off for a wander round your lovely blog.

Hope you’re doing alright. I think everyone understands when blogs go slack for a bit. Mine for sure has lately as I’ve been the same – no energy for it. Hope you’re enjoying your summer despite the busy time.
