Your world looks sooo different to mine. Both extremely beautiful but in different ways. I can't believe you see buffalo on the way to the dentist. lol! We see sheep. Just scrolled down and looked at your 'Dream Home' post. I was looking at the picture book thinking, "hmmm, I'd like to live there too. Actually that looks and sounds like my corner of the world!" And would you believe, it is! The All Creatures Great and Small, TV series (based on the James Herriot books) was filmed here and round about in Wensleydale and Swaledale. The building used for the surgery is in Askrigg, a little village just up the road. (but I'm sure you knew that already) I feel quite tingley to think someone at the other side of the world would like to be exactly where I am.
