Monogrammed Stone Coasters
I love giving handmade gifts whenever I can, though sometimes if I don’t have much time, this can cause a bit of an issue. We recently decided to take a quick trip to see some family before Christmas. This means I need quite a few gifts quickly, and I wanted it to be something I was excited about. I was really excited when my new friend from the book signing shared a tutorial for her monogrammed stone coasters. I love these, they are classy, personalized, homemade, and inexpensive. Who wouldn’t love getting their own set of personalized stone coasters? Here is the tutorial for the coasters, I do hope you’ll make some if you need a quick, easy, and gorgeous gift for someone else, or yourself. They are superb, and would also be great for a wedding gift, housewarming gift, or just about any other occasion you can think of. Thanks for such a great tutorial Domestic Notebook.
SO cool! and looks pretty easy. Now to find travertine tumbled tiles…
did you find yours at a hardware store?
Amy, I got a box of nine of them in the tile department at Lowe’s. You should be able to find them at any store like that.
lovely! thanks for sharing.
i seem to be a bit behind on the making front with illness and looking after poorly ones, but they are lovely and a good idea for people who prefer more modern stuff! fliss xx
What a brilliant idea, thanks for the link. I have a lot of family getting together this weekend so am present making like mad!
Wow! That is so cool! I think even I – a non crafty person – might be able to manage that.
We have just had Travertine tiles put down in our kitchen / halls so we even have some bits lying about!
Thank you so much for pointing me at this!
Love charlotte

What a wonderful idea! I’m going to go get some tile…… looks like a great personal and easy gift.
Thanks,
Yours turned out beautifully! I’m so glad you gave them a try. And now that you have all of the supplies, a lovely gift is just a box of tiles and five minutes of time away.
Thanks for linking to me.
Love the link…What a fabulous idea…
and they look gorgeous!!!
I have no idea what travertine tiles are but I can look it up…
I do hope they have these in australia…
They look like a great christmas present…
I’m so glad you all liked them, aren’t they great? I didn’t end up using travertine, because the ones here had very straight corners and I wanted the more rough looking edge. You should be able to find some that you like at the hardware store.
Now that’s just crazy clever! Looks amazing!
