Pear Custard Pie

pear custard pieAs promised, here is the pear custard pie. It is one of our all time favourite desserts, and it’s perfect for the autumn when there is an abundance of pears. I have made this for years and it is so easy. Really, all you do is peel the pears and put them in a pie plate. You blend the other ingredients together and pour them over the pears. That’s it, so it’s even perfect for someone who doesn’t really like to bake. Here is the recipe for the custard pie. It really is easy and delicious, do try it. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who stop by and visit, and a very big thank you to those of you who take the time to comment. I really appreciate it. I’ve been gathering lots of ideas for the kids and I to work on for Christmas, so as we get them done I will be sharing them with you. Lots to do in the next month, but I’ve come across some great ideas that we are really excited about. Hope you guys have a great day.

  5. Boy for a non-baker that sure looks like you “do” bake. I will have to try this. I see a new tradition in our family as well. Who doesn’t love pears that look like that?

Mousy Brown, I had never heard of it either until I found the recipe. It is a keeper though.

Enchantedmama, sorry, I didn’t mean I don’t bake, I love to bake, I just meant even for people who don’t like to bake, this is a great easy one.

  9. Hi there, such fun to have just found your Blog whilst I was blog hopping! That recipe sounds delicious, I’ll be sure to try it. I was reading back through your blog and saw you trying to make Flapjacks, oh Flapjacks! I am English, now living in Belgium, and really miss Flapjacks too. I have tried making them myself, but again the bottom is crumbly! If I ever get a remedy I’ll let you know! Catherine x
