Got Questions?

This is the restaurant where Hubby and I got engaged 12 years ago! Yikes, that’s a long time. Anyway, I haven’t been back since that day, but we were able to drive by it one evening while we were out at the shore. It brought back great memories, and look at what has happened since then. Almost 11 years of marriage and four beautiful children. Even though the babe is finally sleeping better, I somehow am still completely shattered. Our 7 year old son has been waking nightly with bad dreams, and also sleepwalking, so no rest for the weary. I thought as I am still working hard at decluttering and still a little too tired to think coherently, that I might use your help. Is there anything you want to know about me? If you’ve got questions, just leave them in the comments and then next week I’ll try to answer them. I hope you all have a fantastic day. I’m off to fill up another bag for the thrift store.

Good luck with the decluttering! You’ve mentioned before that you have lived in England, I wondered where about. Hope you manage to get SOME sleep.

Hi Jennifer, Do you know, if I could have chosen my own name 65 years ago …. it would have been Jennifer. I so like your name …. also the name of your blog :0) it just conjures up pictures of John Wayne galloping off in the sunset!
I have had to declutter because of a moving of county – from the beautiful Peak District to Oxfordshire. Stick with it …. it is good for you!!!
I would like to know about Wyoming – growing up in the ’50’s we had lots of cowboy films and places like your state just say to me Wide Open Spaces ….. what is it really like?
As I have given away my age, I can say that sleep time WILL come ….. but please enjoy these times, for when they have gone, they have gone.
Blessings to you and your family,
    Val xx

Hi sleepy friend – things are a bit similar here at the moment – my head feels full of cotton wool! You are amazing to still be decluttering anyway – I just seem to find myself standing looking at things with no idea of what I meant to do…..I hope the dreams improve and you all get more sleep soon. My questions are about crafting – you seem to be so good at all the differnt things you try (sewing, crochet, cooking….) but which is your favourite? and how did you start? Have you always loved creating? who taught you? Did you learn in the UK? – I think I should stop there but would love to hear all about what inspires you! Take care and have a good weekend Em xxx

  4. My question is ….. if your house was on fire, assuming all the inhabitants were safe, what would be the first thing that you would save (you’re not allowed to answer chocolate!!)
